Presentation and discussion about the European Mensa Juniors Camp (EMJC)
Speaker Paul JanBen
The European Mensa Juniors Camp (EMJC) is a kids and juniors camp for 12 to 17 year olds from all over Europe and possible even further. The aim of the EMJC is to give young people the opportunity to meet like-minded people from other countries and to get to know themselves, each other and different cultures. This year, the EMJC will take place
in Germany, close to the IBD.
In this activity we want to talk about the existing formats and find opportunities for international cooperation. This workshop is aimed at everyone who might be interested in European Junior Camps. Are you a parent or kid? Do you want to volunteer and help creating a great time for the kids? Do you want us to bring the EMJC to your home country and give kids the chance to experience your culture? Come join us then!
Mensa Kids and Juniors Camps have been running in Germany for several decades and have quickly established themselves due to their popularity, making up a considerable part of the youth work in Germany.
