Systemic Questioning Techniques – The Right Question at the Right Time
Speaker Dr Markus Gyger
Questions are a seemingly harmless intervention, but should not be underestimated. Skilfully used, they can bring new thoughts and ideas to the person being asked, stimulate deep reflection processes and subtly and often unnoticed transport a lot of content. The systemic-constructivist approach assumes that we construct a large part of our reality through our communication. Questions have the power to change these constructions. It is not for nothing that question techniques are among the most important tools in all forms of systemic counselling. A good sense for the right question at the right time is also essential in other contexts such as facilitation, negotiations or conflict resolution. In this workshop you will be introduced to some question techniques from the toolbox of systemic coaching. The aim is to expand your feeling for questions and their effect through input, exercises and reflection.
About Dr. Markus Gyger
Why does a doctor of biophysics work as a communication trainer and systemic business coach? Already during his studies, Markus Gyger took part in numerous moderation trainings and was involved in various educational projects at schools and vocational schools. During his doctorate, he then bridged the gap between his academic training and his voluntary work. He specialised in offers for people with a scientific and technical background: How can meetings be organised so that something comes out of them? How do I organise myself so that I get the important things done? How can content be communicated in such a way that it really reaches the audience? He has been with Mensa since 2002 and has participated in numerous events with workshops and lectures, as a moderator or in the organising team. More information at: www.gyger-training.de
